Scholarships
The Math & Statistics Department offers three scholarships for our outstanding students. The criteria are listed below. For more information contact the awards committee chair Dr. Greg Boudreaux. You can access the application form. Application deadline is the first Monday following Spring Break.
Joseph M. Parsons Scholarship and Jane Oliver Swafford Scholarship
Requirements
- Declared math major.
- Planned completion of at least 12 hours of 200+ level math courses.
- Rising junior or senior.
Criteria
- GPA in math classes.
- Departmental citizenship.
- Other scholarships received.
Award

Martha Game Scholarship
Requirements
- Math major in teaching concentration.
- Rising Junior or Senior.
Criteria
- GPA in math classes.
- Departmental citizenship.
- Other scholarships received.
